Civil Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our technical staff, contributing to all stages of Civil projects. Your responsibilities will include developing construction plans, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and exceeding customer expectations. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and act as a subject matter expert in some Civil engineering activities. The position reports to the Infrastructure Group Leader.
What You Will Be Doing
– Assisting in developing and approving construction plans, goals, and objectives.
– Contributing to the establishment and improvement of engineering standards and guidelines, implementing industry best practices.
– Acting as a subject matter expert for certain Civil engineering activities.
– Interacting closely with internal teams to meet project objectives.
– Preparing engineering scope documents, budgets, specifications, schedules, and RFPs.
– Leading or participating in project meetings and conference calls.
– Producing quality engineering plans, studies, and specifications, ensuring compliance with requirements and standards.
– Participating in engineering, design, and construction review processes.
– Interpreting plans, specifications, and documents related to engineering and construction.
– Handling additional duties as required

What You Need for this Position
– Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
– Minimum of 5 years of related experience/training post licensing.
– Professional Engineers (PE) License required.
– Experience in Roadway and Highway design preferred, but not required.Skills/Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of related experience/training post licensing.

– AutoCAD Civil 3D familiarity required.
– MicroStation familiarity preferred, but not required.
– Strong team player or able to work independently.

– Good verbal and written communication skills.
– Must pass background check, drug screen, and have an acceptable driving record.
