Accounting Manager – Job Details:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, 2 years working in Sage 100 or similar ERP system, prior experience with multiple entities and intercompany transactions preferred.
What You Will Be Doing
-Overseeing and Managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll activities.
-Maintain General ledger and prepare corresponding month-end/year-end closing entries.
-Execute AP and AR duties.
-Update Sage 100 with PO, SO, Inventory Change, AP, AR, Bank & Credit Cards.
-Prepare and manage the preparation of monthly financial statements and related reports.
-Provide data and variance analysis and communicate explanations and provide recommendations to management.
-Prepare Work in Progress Reports and Backlog Reports for construction projects.
-Prepare multi-state Payroll (union and non-union) and related (monthly/quarterly) tax/union report preparation.
-Develop sound financial processes and procedures and improve existing processes.
